Welcome to Tipz (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our mobile application and related services (collectively, the “App”).

By using Tipz, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

Tipz allows users to discover, share, and view tips, insights, and experiences about different places and establishments. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You must:

• Be at least 13 years old (or the legal age of majority in your region).
• Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or submitting content.
• Not misuse the App, interfere with its operation, or attempt unauthorized access to any system or data.

2. User Accounts

You may need to create an account to access some features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our community guidelines.

3. User-Generated Content

Tipz allows users to post “tips,” reviews, or other content about establishments (“User Content”).

By submitting User Content, you agree that:

• You own or have the right to post it.
• Your content does not infringe on the rights of others.
• Your content does not contain offensive, harmful, or misleading information.

You grant Tipz a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, use, reproduce, and distribute your User Content within the App and related services (for example, to show your tips to other users).

We reserve the right to remove or edit any content that violates these Terms or our policies.

4. Use of Google Places API

Tipz integrates with the Google Places API to show business or place details (such as names, addresses, ratings, and photos). By using Tipz, you agree to comply with the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and design in the App (except User Content and third-party materials) are owned by Tipz or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any part of the App without our written consent.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Post or share unlawful, offensive, or defamatory material.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the App’s functionality.
• Use bots, scripts, or automated methods to interact with the App.
• Violate any laws or regulations related to data privacy, intellectual property, or online conduct.

7. Disclaimers

Tipz provides content “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of user-generated or third-party data. Information shown via the Google Places API is managed by Google and its partners — not by Tipz. You use the App at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tipz and its team are not liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Loss of data, profits, or goodwill resulting from your use of the App.
• Third-party content, including Google Places data and User Content.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if:

• You violate these Terms,
• You misuse the App, or
• We discontinue the service.

Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately end.

10. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App with an updated “Effective Date.” Continued use of Tipz after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your country or region of residence, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
