Snap a photo, drop in a screenshot from Instagram, TikTok, or Google Maps, search by name, or paste a list you already have in your notes. Tipz figures out the place and organizes it by city and category for you. It works anywhere in the world, so your next trip is covered too.

No. Tipz is useful on day one as your own map of places you love. Friends make it better: you can see what they've saved ("bars in New York by Anna and Lucas"), and when you need a tip, you can post an Ask and they'll reply with places they actually love.

Google Maps doesn't let other apps import your saved places directly. But we have you covered. Take a screenshot of your list in Google Maps and add it to Tipz, and we'll pull out the places for you. You can also copy and paste lists from your notes, messages, or anywhere else. No need to start from scratch.

No, and that's on purpose. There's no feed, no ranking, and no algorithm deciding what you see. You only see places saved by you and the people you choose. AI is used only to organize your Tipz, never to tell you where to go.

Your profile is public by default, so friends can find you and your lists. You can switch to private in Settings, and then only your friends see your Tipz, Asks, and Lists.
